The progress report is a checkpoint to ensure you are on track with your final project. This is an opportunity to get feedback before the final submission.

Requirements

Submit a 3-4 page progress report including:

Introduction

  • Brief problem statement (can reuse from Part 1)
  • Any refinements to your approach based on feedback

Methods

  • Detailed description of methods being applied
  • Data sources and any data processing steps
  • Computational approach and tools

Preliminary Results

  • At least one figure or table showing initial results
  • Description of what you’ve learned so far
  • Any challenges or surprises

Next Steps

  • What remains to be done
  • Timeline for completion
  • Any questions or concerns
