Overview

The final deliverable consists of a written report and a brief presentation to the class.

Written Report Requirements

Submit a 8-12 page report (excluding references and appendices) including:

Introduction (1-2 pages)

  • Problem statement and motivation
  • Decision context and stakeholders
  • Research questions

Methods (2-3 pages)

  • Data sources and processing
  • Models and assumptions
  • Decision analysis framework
  • Computational tools and implementation

Results (3-4 pages)

  • Present results clearly with figures and tables
  • Interpret findings in context of decision problem
  • Compare alternatives or scenarios as appropriate

Discussion (2-3 pages)

  • Synthesis of key findings
  • Limitations and uncertainties
  • Implications for decision-making
  • Recommendations for future work

References

  • Cite all data sources and methods appropriately
  • Include course materials where applicable

Presentation Requirements

Prepare a 10-minute presentation covering:

  1. Problem and motivation (2 min)
  2. Methods overview (2 min)
  3. Key results (4 min)
  4. Conclusions and implications (2 min)
